We thank you for the gift of Simbang Gabi,
Prepare us more fully for the coming of Jesus in our lives.
Dear God, prepare our hearts, Make them open like a manger,
ready to embrace Your love in Jesus.
Prepare our families;
Make them loving like the family of Joseph and Mary;
Ready to nurture your faithfulness and forgiveness Jesus brings.
Prepare us your people;
Make us committed like the disciples of Jesus
Active in the life and mission of our parishes
And the universal church. Prepare our communities;
Make us live in unity, justice and peace
Like your kingdom that has come in Jesus.
Gracious God, thank you for the Simbang Gabi
Thank you for the readiness in us to welcome
Jesus into our world.
